Zicam is comes in a chewable tablet or nasal spray and is meant to take on the on sight of a cold or flu. How we get sick isn’t from being out in the even knowing that does lower the immune system it is from contact from other sick and infected people. Zicam comes from the matrix company and has reported law suits that have been settled out of court with out the makers admitting fault. Animal studies along with human complaints have proven from both Matrix and Zicam that you can loose taste and smell from the zinc based nasal spray. There are and has been investigations on these products that are affordable and have proven to stop the flu and common cold faster. Zicam is priced at $10.99- $11.99 and can be founf in most stores that have pharmacies. The question is would it be worth it to take this miracle spray and take the chance of loosing your sense of smell or taste or both that decision is left up to you. One last question is is it worth it to take something that we know can cause more harm than good? and even if we have used it before and not had any of these side effects can it still cause them and are we taking a chance every time we do use this nasal spray? I know after reaserching this producat I am not willing to take that chance and I have used Zicam before and will say it does work as fast as it advertises but at what later cost I do not know and do not want to take the chance to find out. Zicam should start putting warning labels on there products if it even has the slimmest chance of causing harm to any of us how can any of us trust this company after settling out side of court to avoid or slim down the chances of the public knowing just how serious these side effects are. I personaly am happy not to have had any of the side effects and if I had I would hate to live life with out a sense of smell or taste or both at that.
